No need to set the alarm anymore, it automatically sets for you. The Dash also has built in internet audio streaming, video streaming, and tons of great apps you can download to install on it. It also has a weather tracking system on the main screen so you can see what the weather is going to be like before you even crawl out of bed. I've had mine for about a year now and no issues what so ever with it. I think once in that year it locked up, but I just unplugged in and plugged it back in and it was back up and running.
